TALPAC 2003c is a legacy edition of the TALPAC haulage and loading simulation tool used in surface mining. It helps engineers evaluate and size truck–shovel fleets by modeling the full haul cycle—loading, travel (loaded and empty), queuing at loaders and dumps, and delays and availability—to estimate cycle times, productivity, and unit costs. Users can compare scenarios by varying truck and loader models, payload policies, haul routes and grades, rolling resistance, speeds, and destination types (e.g., dump or crusher). The software provides reports such as cycle time breakdowns, fleet utilization, queue statistics, tonnes per hour, and cost per tonne, supporting decisions on fleet selection, haul route changes, pit expansions, and equipment replacement planning. As an early-2000s release, TALPAC 2003c reflects the interface and platform conventions of its time, but remains useful for quick, defensible haulage studies and teaching fundamental haulage analysis.

TALPAC 2003c is developed by Runge Ltd. The most popular version of this product among our users is 8.1. The name of the program executable file is Talpac.exe.
